He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Hand and Hazel Hand (Whyte); his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Gerry Bader (Jackie Dwyer), Walter "Sonny" Hand and Larry Hand.
He is survived by: his sister Janet Warner (Wesley); his children, Shelley Parks (Milton) of Kearney, Jennifer Guthard of Omaha, Jason Eberly (Becky) of Titonka, IA and Shandy Hand (Susan) of Columbus; and his stepsons, Todd and Troy Kroeger. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department at 440 Jefferson Avenue, Hebron, NE 68370.
