He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Ritzdorf and Gertrude Ritzdorf (Liekhus); and his sons, Tim and Rick Ritzdorf. He is survived by: his wife Karma Ritzdorf of Columbus, NE; and his children, Debra Shemek (Mike) of Columbus, NE, Gina Tichota of Columbus, NE, Carla Ritzdorf of Fremont, NE and Kent Ritzdorf (Carrie) of Columbus, NE. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Isidore Church (3921 20th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
