He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Margaret, Joseph Soulliere, Pauline and Frank Kneifel. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Kneifel and Janet Kneifel; and his siblings, Tamara Zimmerman (Brian), Doug Obal (Kim), Lisa Paczosa and Paula Stuart (Brian). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A vigil service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKown Funeral Home (2922 13th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (562 17th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601).
