He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Westring and Joan Westring (Noble); his stepmother Bonnie; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Wemhoff and Ron Jarecke.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wallin (Gasper); his children, Erica (Jeff), Amber Aschoff (Lee) of Columbus, Ashley Pelster (Marc) of Petersburg, Derek Westring (Ashton) of Columbus, Kirk Westring (April) of Humphrey, Andy Wallin (Carley) of Columbus and Tony Wallin (Tanna) of Hallam; his siblings, Laurie Hrachovec (Bob) of Rapid City, SD, Missy Johnson of Lincoln, Darren Westring (Sheila) of Genoa and Kevin Westring (Jane) of Kansas City, MO; and his stepsiblings, JoEtta Jarecke of Arlington, Ken Carter of Columbus and B. J. Carter (Lori) of Columbus. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
