He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Koziol and Laura P. Koziol (Zoucha); and his grandparents, John A, Anna Koziol, Joseph, Mary Zoucha and Barbara Zoucha.

He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Koziol of Columbus and Lonnie Koziol of John Day, Oregon; and his uncle Bob Zoucha (Jane) of Omaha Many.
