She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Schwank and Alma Schwank (Studts); her spouse Kasimer Zaura of Madison; and her siblings, Arletta Dittberner, Marie Duby, Bud Schwank and Jean Schwank.
She is survived by : her sons, Jan Allen of Columbus, NE and Steven Paul (Jodi) of Columbus, NE; her granddaughter Madelyn; her nephew Don Dittberner; and her nieces, Joan Buresh, Sharon Leffers and Mary Millman.
In lieu of plants or flowers, memorials may be made to Eden Comfort Dog Ministry, c/o Peace Lutheran Church, 2720 28™ Street, Columbus, NE 68601. In lieu of thanking each individual, Shirlee's family will instead use the means to say "thank you" and the money saved will also be donated to the Comfort Dog Ministry.
