He is survived by: his mother Sharon Heiner; his wife Sara; his children, Sara "Bear" Heiner (Ian Cardona), Elisabeth "Lizard" Heiner (Derek Whelchel), Tim, Walter "Walaboo" Messerlie (Anna) and Kaylie "Ninny" Heiner; his grandchildren, Quinn, Nadia Cardona (Nods), Kendall, Eli, Owen Whelchel and Eleanor Messerlie; and his siblings, Tony Heiner (Janette), Tammy Bunkers (Jerome), Tracy Heiner and Tristan Pyzel (Travis).
