He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" E. Prorok and Marjorie Prorok (Dickinson); his grandmother Carm; and his nephew Cooper Prorok. He is survived by: his children, Blake Prorok, Brittney Vance (Jesse), Dakota Prorok (Allison), Kienan Prorok, Robyn Determan, Cole Lloyd (Hannah) and Chelsey Backhaus (Keith); his grandchildren, Graham, Noah Vance, Elayne, Malcolm Lloyd, Rosie and Brinn Backhaus; and his siblings, Paula Lloyd (Jim), Jody Prorok (Tom), Daniel Prorok (Paul), Chuck Prorok (Amy) and Jason Prorok (Sarah). He is also survived by two aunts, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (805 Washington St, St Edward, NE 68660). A vigil service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
