He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brandl and Mary Brandl (Frauendorfer); his wife Eileen Brandl; his son Melvin Brandl; his grandson Brian Kuchar; and his siblings, Viola Wieser, Leona Zuerlein, Ervin and Lawrence Brandl.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Kuchar (Jim) of Norfolk and Ronald Brandl (Judi) of Humphrey; his daughter-in-law Laura Brandl of Humphrey; and his siblings, Merle Brandl of Norfolk, Janie Werner and Darlene Becker of Enola. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
