He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kuchta and Criscentia Kuchta (Vornhagen); his siblings, Esther Schwartz, Ellamae Dimmitt and Richard Kuchta; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Darline Olander; and his siblings-in-law, Fuzz Tanderup, Carol Olander and Therese Olander.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Olander of Peter's Catholic Church; his children, Chad Kuchta (Jennifer) of Blair, NE, Jennifer Walker (Bob) of Sioux City, IA and Jodi Handke (Matt) of Lawton, IA; his grandchildren, Caleb, Sierra Handke, Evan Kuchta, Abigail and Kaitlin Walker; and his siblings, Marvin Kuchta (Pat) of St. Paul, NE, Dianne McCluskey (Tom) of Newcastle and Ardyth Rohan (Tim) of Newcastle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and In-laws.
