With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayleen C. Eden of Cook, Nebraska, who passed away on April 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Bentzinger and Rosa Bentzinger (Riensche); her husband LaVern "Mike" H. Eden; her sister Eleanor Tehee; and her brothers-in-law, Owen Tehee and Eugene Staack.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Eden (Kristi), Dixie Formanack (George) and Dennis Eden (Shelli); her grandson John Eden (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Riley, Charlize and Lindsey Ehlers (T. J.); her siblings, Louis Bentzinger (Grace), Joan Staack and Margaret Damme; Chase, Halle, Paisley, Jason Eden (Jessica), Andrew, Lauren, Caleb, Brandi Ballan (Scot), Brooklyn, Brogan, Dustin Formanack (Ashley), Zoey and Ellie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Grace Lutheran Church or Cook Volunteer Fire Department.
