He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeda Gottlob and W. D. "Bill" Gottlob; his brother Bill Gottlob Jr.; and his brother-in-law James Vonfeldt. He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his daughters, Amy Schmitt (Mitch) and Monica Gottlob; his grandchildren, Hannah, Weston and Allison Schmitt; and his brother-in-law Donald Hein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
