He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallman and Minnie Wallman (Schmidt); his parents-in-law, Dale and Suzaine Roelfs (Snyder); his brother Eugene Wallman; and his sister-in-law Patricia Wallman.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Roelfs Hoppe of Cortland; his brothers, Norman Wallman of Wilber and Wayne Wallman (Janet) of Cortland; and his siblings-in-law, Vallory Wallman of Chandler, AZ, Sandra Corkle of Santa Clarita, CA, David Roelfs (Marilyn) of Sun Prairie, WI, Douglas Roelfs of Fairbury and Danny Roelfs (Carolea) of Fairbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Orphan Grain Train with Dick and Carol Trapp in charge.
