We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2023, at the age of 86, David Cañas of Cozad, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Cañas and Eremene Cañas (Lopez); his son Clemente; and his siblings, Jose Cañas, Ismael Cañas, Esther Lopez and Rebecca Guerra.

He is survived by : his children, Estella Beenblossom (Rex Crisman) of Gothenburg, Raquel Crick (Doug) of Cozad, Arturo Cañas of Cozad and Carmela "Coco" Cañas of Cozad; his close friend Valente of Mickies; and his friend Joe Herrera of Corpus Christi, TX..
