With profound sadness, we say goodbye to DeEtta Hartman of Cozad, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. DeEtta left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Stahl and Alvina Stahl (Hahn); her husband Charles "Chuck" Hartman; her parents-in-law, Walt and Opal Hartman; her brother Verlyn; her sister-in-law Donna Stahl; her nephews, Mike and Steven Stahl; her siblings-in-law, Bob, Maxine Perlinger (Hartman), Al and Shirley Tompkins (Hartman); and her close friends, Carolyn Sharp and Gary Morrow.
She is survived by: her sons, Mitchell Lee (Sandy) of Lincoln and Doug Hartman (Sharon) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Jeff Hartman (Ashley) of Columbus, Melissa Fenton (Lukas) of Lincoln, Derek Hartman (Sarah) of Lincoln, Susan Halsted (Phillip) of Lincoln and Beth Goodenberger (James) of Marion, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Finley, Riley Hartman, Brooklyn, Haiden Fenton, Jamie, Benny Goodenberger, Jaxon, Cooper Hartman and Clara Halsted. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
She asked that memorials be directed to the Robert Henri Museum, 207 E 9th St, Cozad, NE 69130.
