He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris "Tag" Dillon and Lucille "Sugar" Dillon (McVicker); his grandchildren, Gaven Kasson and Kennetha Dillon; his daughter Shanna Dillon; and his brother Bob Dillon.

He is survived by : his wife Cap; his children, Dana Dillon of Holdrege, Krista Bodfield (Michael) of Beaver City and Hunter Dillon of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Azaria, Tristan, Lotus, Reina, Camden, Jaylyn and Isaac; and his siblings, Donna Kolbo Christianson of Cozad, George Dillon (Marg) of Gothenburg, Jack Dillon (Judy) of Lincoln, Jim Dillon (Robee) of Cozad and Robert Petersen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
