With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Max of Cozad, Nebraska, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Floyd "Earl" Max; his grandparents, Ernest, Mary Bailey, August and Gladys Max; his mother-in-law Glenda Wilson; and his sister-in-law Lisa Wilson.
He is survived by: his mother Eunice "Jeanne" Max of Gothenburg; his wife Crystal Wilson (Crystie); his children, Amanda Barkmeier (Travis) of Lexington, Emily Prather (Trent) of Omaha and Shane Max (Kelsey) of Gothenburg; his grandsons, Kaden, Kooper Barkmeier, August, Tucker, Quinten Max and Prather; his brothers, Marty Max (Becky) of Minnesota and Steve Max (Jill) of Ogallala; his father-in-law Robert Wilson of Gothenburg; and his brother-in-law Matt Wilson of Gothenburg. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and other extended family, as well as many special friends and co-workers.
