She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Gruber and Cora Gruber (Ebele); her husbands, Myron Schultheiss and Richard Thies; her daughter Amy Schultheiss; and her brother Wayne Gruber.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Schultheiss (Jeri) of Eustis and Debbie Janus (Tony) of Eustis; her stepchildren, Wendee Rush of Holdrege, David Thies of Willis, TX and Dana Chavez of Shelton, NE; her grandchildren, Torrey Gerdes (Cody), Zachary Janus, Trista Koch (Tommy), Tara Niles (Dan) and Jacey Edson (Wes); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Collins Gerdes, Ellaray, Traevyn, Jacquelyn Koch, Everleigh, Raleigh Niles, Finnegan and Oliver Edson.
