She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hohlfeld and Hilda Hohlfeld (Otte); her husband Allen Ahrens; her brother Kenny Hohlfeld; and her siblings-in-law, Otto, Myrtle Ahrens (Hughes), Daisy Furtak (Ray), Keith Hughes (Roberta) and Arno Ahrens (Shirley).
She is survived by: her children, Ritchie A., Robert E. of Mesa, AZ and Jill Carpenter (Ward) of Arapahoe, NE; her grandsons, Chad Carpenter (Kayla) and Colby Carpenter (Natasha); and her great grandchildren, Corbin, Cadence, Chloe, Eli, Camden and Chapin of Arapahoe, NE..
