She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kahre and Eva Kahre (Stephens); her husband Richard Maendele; her former husband Barney McNulty; her daughter Pam; her siblings, Sharon Anderson and Gene Kahre; and her niece Debbie Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Esslinger (Rick) of Cozad; her grandchildren, Mica Esslinger of Gothenburg and Bill Maendele (Jami) of Kearney; her great grandchildren, Serina, Hailey and Aniston; and her stepchildren, Bonnia Morris (Robert), Wendy Judy (Michael) of Hastings, Kristie Wagner (Greg) of Lexington and Tami Orr (Kal). She is also survived by 9 step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel (620 E 22nd St, Cozad, NE 69130). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
