He is survived by: his great grandchild Tassidi Chavez-Buerer; his wife Glennis Thies; his children, Wendee Rush of Holdrege, NE, David Thies of Willis, TX and Dana Chavez of Shelton, NE; and his stepchildren, Tony Schultheiss (Jeri) of Eustis, NE and Debbie Janus (Tony) of Eustis, NE.. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
