She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Jane Duhart and Franklin Black Gilmore; her husband Edward A. Metz; her brother Franklin Black Gilmore Jr.; and her great grandchild Omari Franklin Lopez.
She is survived by: her sons, Franklin Gilmore-Metz and Timothy Gilmore-Metz (Aubrey); her stepdaughters, Donna Metz, Joanne Hitchcock (Harvard) and Barb Franklin (Clyde); and her grandchildren, Jenny, Jamie, Tyrone, Andrea, Gabrielle, Jackie and Roman.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 211 E Belmont Rd, Crawford, NE 69339.
Donations can be made to the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department or the Methodist Church.
