It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Hughes (Crawford, Nebraska), who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille McMeekin and Joe McMeekin; her brother Gary McMeekin; and her grandson Garrett Schlichtemeier. She is survived by: her husband Roger Hughes; her children, Rog Hughes (Laura), Shari Schlichtemeier (Jeff) and Rommie Hughes (Cherey); her grandchildren, Maddison Hughes, Laramie Burki (Sam), Ethan, Claire and Evan Hughes; and her great grandchild Morgan Burki.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Legend Buttes Golf Course in Crawford. Donations can be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
