He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Britton and Myrtle Britton; his wife June Eagen; his in-laws, Elmore and Mavis Eagen; his brothers, Duane (Betty), Devere (Dorothy), Bernie (Clydean) and Butch (Renate); his grandsons, Jeremiah and Jesse; his great grandchild Rylan; his granddaughter Jackie; Mina.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Pickering (Bob) of Crawford, Patty of Crawford, Mike of Crawford and James of Crawford; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Eagen, Terri Meeker and Elaine Ahlers (Mike). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crawford Community Building (1005 Main St, Crawford, NE 69339).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ponderosa Villa or Crawford Volunteer Fire Department.
