It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene V. Fuchtman of Creighton, Nebraska, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene V. Fuchtman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Kaminski and Domicella Kaminski (Krzycki); her husband Joe; her siblings, Jerry and Liz; and her siblings' children, Robb Kaminski, Ed Burns, Bob Burns, Tom Fuchtman, Sue Mathine and Ann Beth Focht.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Becker (Tim) of Creighton, Jim Fuchtman (Jody) of Creighton, Joe Fuchtman of Arlington, VA and Larry (Katie) of Gilbert, AZ; her grandchildren, Courtney Hanefeldt (Garrett), Brennan Becker (Katelyn), Clarissa Becker, Alex Taralson (Jordan), Ian Fuchtman, Sloane Schulz (Joe), Bailey Fuchtman, Emmett Fuchtman and Abigail Irene Fuchtman; her brother Stanley Kaminski of Dayton, OH; and her sister-in-law Theresa Fuchtman of Omaha, Nebraska.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brockhaus Funeral Home - Creighton (824 Main St, Creighton, NE 68729). A wake was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ludger Catholic Church (410 Bryant Ave, Creighton, NE 68729).
Memorials may be directed to Alpine Village in Verdigre, St. Ludger Elementary School, or Avera Creighton Hospital.
