He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Pospisil and Edna Pospisil (Brandl); his wives, Lucille Vogt and Elizabeth "Betty" Vogt; his children, Rita Pospisil and Lloyd Pospisil; and his sister Cora Lee Pospisil.

He is survived by : his sons, Vernon Pospisil (Diane) of Winnetoon, Orrin Pospisil (Sue) of Creighton, Jerry Pospisil (Diane) of Creighton and Keith Pospisil of Creighton; and his sister Donna Pospisil of Wausa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
