He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Laible and Chestra Laible (Rzeszotarski); his wife Joyce; his grandchildren, Dakota Ziegler and Alexis Laible; and his stepdaughter-in-law Dori Metteer (Blaux Harris).
He is survived by: his children, Hally Ziegler (Kurt), Angela Weber, Tom Laible (Gina), Dustin Laible (Lori), Laurie Steinhauser and Shane Steinhauser; his siblings, Jerry Laible (Karen) of Arkansas, Jim Laible of Nebraska and Casey Laible (Tammy) of Kansas; and his stepchildren, Charlotte Alt (Dan) of Shelby, Eugene Metteer of Shelby and Joseph Peery of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
