With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice E. Steuer of Crete, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernice E. Steuer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Dittmer (Masenthin) and William Dittmer; her husband Dolyn Steuer; her son Larry; and her brother Elmer Dittmer.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Beranek (Don) of Snohomish, WA, Sara Morton (Todd) of Eagle, NE. and Lynn Steuer of Crete, NE; her daughter-in-law Deb Steuer of Crete, NE.; her grandchildren, Ben Beranek, Lori Fuller (Tom), Troy Steuer (Mandy), Nathan Steuer, Christina Peatrowsky, Zach Morton (Kyla), Emily Wesely (Ben), Kaylee McGill (Jered) and Ali Prochaska (Nate); and her sister-in-law Darleen Dittmer. She is also survived by four nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuncl Funeral Home (131 W 12th St, Crete, NE 68333). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (805 Hawthorne Ave, Crete, NE 68333).
