She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Henning and Vera Henning (Behrens); her husband Elmer Dittmer; her parents-in-law, William and Minnie Dittmer; her granddaughter Becky Dittmer; her brother Eldon Henning; her siblings-in-law, Leann Henning, Eleanor Henning, Gloria Pospisil, Bernice Steuer and Dolyn Steuer; her nephews, Larry Steuer and Tim Henning; and her stepgrandson Tim Drevo.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Dittmer (Kate), Terry Dittmer (Genie), Gene Dittmer (Lori) and Jim Dittmer (Angie); her brothers, Arnold Henning and Loren Henning; her sister-in-law Carol Henning; and her grandchildren, Camie Nitzel (Dale), Jeff Dittmer (Hilda), Sally Heusinkvelt (Chris), Staci McMahon (Shaun), Travis Dittmer (Patricia), Mindie Hughes (Phil), Jessie Graff (Kelly), Mollie Topil (Aaron), Jacob Dittmer, Emily Dittmer, Annisa Dittmer, Willem Dittmer, Cody Drevo and Cheryl Bray (Steve). She is also survived by 37 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuncl Funeral Home ~ Crete (131 W 12th St, Crete, NE 68333). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (11400 W Panama Rd, Crete, NE 68333).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church.
