He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Edward Busboom and Phyllis Busboom (Rethmeier); his brother Thomas Busboom; his nephew Aaron Novak; and his great-nephew Mason Dixon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Novak (Deane) and Alan Busboom (Regina) of Norfolk; his sister-in-law Pamela Busboom of Crete; and his siblings' children, Sabrina Dixon (Jesse) of Milford, Amanda Howe (Charlie) of Bellevue, Andrea Bakenhus (Josh) of Elkhorn, Elizabeth Amegbeto (Komlan) of Elkhorn, Ben Busboom (Karla) of Omaha, Tim Gall (Stephanie) of Topeka, KS and Jeremy Gall (Holly) of Elkhorn.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Plymouth Congregational-Ucc Church (906 Ivy Ave, Crete, NE 68333).
