It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene C. Douglas of Crete, Nebraska, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene C. Douglas to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Harold Douglas and Barbara Douglas (Cox); his wife Donnette Lou Douglas; and his siblings, Gerald, Donald, Warren, Dorothy, Loraine and Jeanette.

He is survived by : his children, Michael (Cynthia Douglas), Mark Alan Douglas of Crete, Barbara Dee (Raymond Dean Chase) and Christine Lee (Denis Strobel); and his grandchildren, Michael Gene Douglas, Amy Wemhoff, Dr. Kari Strobel, Tiffini Douglas and Marci Woehler. He is also survived by Nephews, nieces and cousins.
