He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Kraus and LaMae Behrens; his wife Margie Kraus; and his stepfather Joseph Marostica. He is survived by: his daughters, Dionne Gorji, Suzette Hipple and Kim Linzer; his sister Karen Wagner; his nephew Brad Wagner; his grandchildren, Yahsmin Gorji-Lechner (Blake), Jay Kraus, Cody Smith, Bailey Smith, Jacob Linzer and Joseph Linzer; his pet Champagne; and his friend Street. He is also survived by his family, friends.

A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery.
