It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome C Moore of Crete, Nebraska, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Moore and Alice Moore (Evenson); his siblings, Roland (Beverly), Roger and Roberta Conyers; and his nephews, Denny Moore and Scott Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Moore (Sasges); his children, Becky Kalkwarf (Mike), Alan (Dede) and Brent (Stacy); his great grandchildren, Kyle Kalkwarf (Heather), Kasen and Brayden; his grandchildren, Michala Galusha (Jake), Emersyn, Everly, Jett, Corey Kalkwarf (Carey), Joey, Jude, Carissa Moore, Camry Moore, Austin Severson, Logan Moore, Megan Christensen, Layton Moore and Bryer Shaw; and his siblings, James Moore (Judy) and Frances Ann Hanson (Wendell). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuncl Funeral Home (131 W 12th St, Crete, NE 68333). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (515 E 14th St, Crete, NE 68333).
