She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Mitchell Carstens and Patricia Marie Carstens (Lowrey); her daughter Elizabeth "Beth" Anne Stilwagon; and her brother Christopher Mitchell Carstens. She is survived by: her children, Chelsea Smith (Mathew) of Dorchester, Nebraska and Brandon Stilwagon of Dorchester, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Boone and AnnMarie Smith of Dorchester, Nebraska; and her sister Kim-Marie Carrera of Murray, Nebraska. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (515 E 14th St, Crete, NE 68333). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Fellowship Will Follow in the Parish Hall. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (4031 N 6th St, Beatrice, NE 68310).
