He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur C. Joachimsen and Mary M. Joachimsen (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Grady of Crofton; his children, Tammy McCain (Jason) of Hartington, Teri Fischer (Garrett) of Norfolk and Troy Joachimsen (Tonya) of Hartington; and his siblings, Larry Joachimsen (Linda) of Crofton and Gayle Schuett (Larry) of Welcome, MN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Hartington (106 W Centre St, Hartington, NE 68739).
