He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Rosemary Rita Burke Sr. (O'Connor); and his siblings, Martin and Eileen Burke. He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald Burke (Mary) of Omaha, Mary Guthrie (Clair) of Lincoln, Angela Burke of Lincoln, James Burke (Trisha) of Elkhorn and Joseph Burke of Lincoln. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
