We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mary Ann Jansen of Crofton, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicky Meyer and Frances Meyer (Schroeder); her husband George Joseph Jansen; her son-in-law Doug Galloway; her siblings, Larry, Delmar, Dennis Meyer and Alverda Ankeny; and her siblings-in-law, Dale List, Jim Ankeny and Karen Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Galloway of Knoxville, TN, Renee Hoile (Tom) of Norfolk, David Jansen (Kim) of Muir, PA, Lynn Schieffer (Jim) of St. Helena and Dawn DeTurk (Ted) of Ames, NE.; her siblings, Melvin Meyer (Janice) of Omaha, Dee Paulson (Darold) of Crofton and Eileen List of Pierre, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Cardi Meyer of Tea, SD, Clara Rolfes of Wynot and Lorraine Schulte of Hartington. She is also survived by seven grandsons, two granddaughters, and 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church. A vigil service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Park View Haven Nursing Home, 309 North Madison Avenue, Coleridge, NE 68727.
