He was predeceased by: his parent Loy Beermann; his wife Sandra; his mother Helen Beermann (Rundell); and his sisters, Marlene Clarke (George) and Mary Lou Haggart (Jim).

He is survived by: his daughters, Tera Beermann of Lincoln, NE, Patti Shepard of Lenexa, KS and Shelly Hollinger (Brent) of Stromsburg, NE; and his grandchildren, Collin Shepard (Kaitlin), Kristin Hirsch (Brent), Grant Hollinger (Jasmyn), Cory and Tanner Hollinger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Salem Lutheran Church, the Homer Community Education Foundation, or to the family.
