He was predeceased by: his mother Marilyn Cooper (Derby); his grandparents, Cecil Cooper, Josephine Cooper, Julia Derby and Lowell Derby; and his great-grandparent Ester McCue.

He is survived by: his father Cecil E. Cooper; his sister Lindsy Cooper; and his nephew Darius Cooper. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home (1431 W 29th St, South Sioux City, NE 68776). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
