With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dennis J. Peters of Dalton, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dennis left this world on July 12, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Jay Peters; his mother-in-law Clarice Kuehn; his niece Sara Russell; and his sister Ann Marie. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jo Peters (Walsh); his daughter Justine Renee (Spencer Jobman); his wife Renee Kuehn; his son Jordan Peters; his grandchildren, Sloane, Josephine Jobman and Reece Peters; his sisters, Margaret (Bob Noonan), Karen Peters, Diane (Maury Horst) and Connie (Paul Pryde); his father-in-law Ray (Teri Kuehn); and his brother-in-law Les Kuehn (Jean Handley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to honor Dennis' love and passion for farming by supporting the Crossroads Cooperative Scholarship program for young farmers as well as Wheat Belt's Young Lineman Scholarship program.

“Dennis and Family, I had the privilege of meeting Dennis while at UNL and SAE. He was a big gentle bear and such a wonderful soul. He would help anyone and love his studies in agriculture. He was a "true Gentleman" and loved his family and was so proud of his home town Dalton Nebraska. I am sadden about the lose to this world of Dennis but he is now in the arms of God and shinning down with continued love to all. Phi Alpha and Love and Hugs to Dennis and family Pat and Sue McClaughry”
