Kenneth R. Porath Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth R. Porath of Dannebrog, Nebraska, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Porath and Betty Porath (Bonge); his wife Marna Porath (Niemoth); and his parents-in-law, Vern and Inez Niemoth.

He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Barton (Rodney) of Hastings; his grandchildren, Brittany Campbell of Hastings and Jessalynn Bennett (Joe) of Kearney; his great grandchildren, Tayson, Stellan Campbell, Henry, Molly and Boone Bennett; his sister Jeannette Sharp (Jerry) of Valentine; his siblings-in-law, Vernelle and Steve Miles of Grand Island; his nephews, Matt Sharp (Vanessa) of Pierce, Nebraska, Jeff Sharp (Sara) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Bryan Sharp (Cassidy) of Bennington, Nebraska, Matt Miles (Andrea) of Grand Island and Mitch Miles (Lindsey) of Grand Island; and his niece Michelle Ober (Chris) of Lincoln, Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
