She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hood and Barbara Hood (Nelson); her husband Louis Mak of Eustis; her daughter Lynn Lohrman; and her grandson Colby Hicken.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Mak (Sylvia) of Casa Grande, AZ and Barb Hicken (Bob) of Gothenburg, NE; and her son-in-law Joe Lohrman of Osceola, NE. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
