Birkel of David City, Nebraska, born in Genoa, Nebraska, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Birkel and Evelyn Birkel; his grandparents, Carl, Alvina Birkel, John and Helen Cuba; and his brothers, Dan Birkel and Matt Birkel.

He is survived by : his brothers, Al Birkel (Vi), Jim Birkel and Lane Birkel. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
