He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Rogers and Hazel Hall (Rogers); and his siblings, Alvin Rogers, Michael Rogers, Patricia Gerlach (Rogers) and Juanita Rhoades (Rogers).

He is survived by : his son David Lee Rogers Jr.; his wife Kathie Rogers; his siblings, Linda Hlavac and Scott Rogers (Christi); his grandchildren, Mike and Lily Rogers; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Rogers and Doris Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
