He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thomas and Leona Thomas (Beckoff); his daughter Stephanie Thomas; his in-laws, Irvin and Gladys Spangler; and his sisters, Debbie, Diana and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Thomas of David City; his children, Dallas Thomas (Dayna) of Ansley, Melissa Muhs (Mitch) of Omaha and Jodi Bruegger (Jason) of Schuyler; his grandchildren, Carson, Aiden Muhs, Mikah, Zayne Mittleider, Brecken, Everleigh Bruegger, Jessi, Jimmie, Josie Carr and Joel Poland (Shannon); his great grandchild Lilah Poland; and his brother Dean Thomas (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for later donation to the Seven Valleys Museum and the Callaway Senior Center.
