It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard R. Havranek of David City, Nebraska, born in Oneill, Nebraska, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Havranek and Mary Havranek (Jirak); and his wife Marie Hegr of Leonard's Catholic Church. He is survived by : his children, Charlene Steager and James Havranek (Maricel); his brothers, Francis Havranek (Marty) of Fremont and Don Havranek of O'Neill; and his grandchildren, Lukas, Ella Havranek, Janelle, Jacob Gustamante and Melissa Silva.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (222 Maple St, Abie, NE 68001).
