He was predeceased by : his parents, Ladislav Dietrich (Lad) and Alice Dietrich (Gertsch); his sister Janet; his brother-in-law George Robertson; his brother Calvin Dietrich; and his brothers-in-law, Emil Janousek and Terry Wallingford.

He is survived by : his daughter Kim Dietrich of St. Petersburg, FL; his siblings, Lad (Carol) of Marysville Ohio, Leroy Dietrich of Octavia, Rolland Dietrich of David City, Robert Dietrich of David City, Myron Dietrich (Sara) of David City, Mary Janousek of Bee, Virginia Dunker (Bob) of Schuyler, Susan Wallingford of Schuyler and Karen Blum (Danny) of Schuyler; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Dietrich.
