He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Hayes and Mary Lou Hayes (Rodgers); his son Blaine Thomas; his wife Rose Ann Hayes; his children, Brante Hayes and Brooke Paxton (Jay); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Hayes (Steven Henry); his grandchildren, Jayden, Cole, Leo, Bailey of Taylor, JT, Gavin, Shelby and Khyler; his daughter-in-law Nichole Hayes; his sister Lillian; his in-laws, Leo and Golda Stafford; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy, Ronnie, Vern Stafford and Golda Mae (Benny Meyer). He was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (620 D St, David City, NE 68632). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
