He was predeceased by: his son Reece French; his grandparents, Tuffy, Myrtle French, George and Alice Schuler; his fathers-in-law, Cliff Olsufka and Dan Loofe; and his close friend Brent Darnell.

He is survived by: his parents, Doyle French and Margie French (Schuler) of Luke's Hospital; his wife Cindy French (Olsufka) of Decatur; his mother-in-law Judy Loofe; his children, Nick French (Savannah) of Decatur, Cassi Soll (Jake) of Bancroft and Couy French (Rachel) of Pender; his grandchildren, Kingston, Kade, Kruze, Karlee, Brinnley, Brielle, Bennett, Harper, Hadleigh and Hoyt; and his siblings, Tami Rogers, Teri Bruening and Torrey French. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pelan Funeral Services - Tekamah (1103 J St, Tekamah, NE 68061). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Decatur Fire Hall.
