He is survived by: his wife Patty Zabokrtsky of Diller; his children, Shawn Zabokrtsky (Jill) of Diller and Misty Gibson (Justin) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Xavier, Griffin of Diller, Andie Jo, Reese, Drew and Zoey of Beatrice; his siblings, David "Big Zab" Zabokrtsky of Herkimer, KS and Nancy D'Agostino (Jim) of Michigan; his brothers-in-law, LaVern Engelman (Cheryl) of Beatrice and Larry Engelman of Diller; and his pet Frankie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
